Scope

These terms of use govern the use of the SchemaCommunity platform, including all features (e.g. profiles/directory, forum, intervision, events, messages, network features, institutes, invitations, notifications).

Target group and access (invite-only)

1. SchemaCommunity is intended for schema therapists, trainees in curricula and selected supervisors/institutes.

2. Registration is only possible with a valid invitation code.

3. Patients and non-professionals are not permitted to use SchemaCommunity.

We reserve the right to review accounts and to block or deactivate access in case of suspected misuse or violations of these terms.

Registration, account and security

• You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your credentials confidential.
• Passwords are not stored in plain text.
• For security reasons, access may be temporarily restricted after too many failed login attempts.
• Invitations are a trust mechanism: please invite only suitable professional colleagues.

Platform services

SchemaCommunity is a professional network. Depending on the current feature set, the platform includes in particular:

• profiles and directory (filters, list view, optional map view)
• forum for anonymised case discussions and certification/training topics
• intervision listings and groups
• events (overview, submissions, saved list)
• direct messages (1:1)
• network/connections
• institutes and memberships

There is no entitlement to a specific availability or error-free operation. We strive to operate the platform securely and reliably.

Ground rules (professional setting)

Anonymisation

It is prohibited to post identifiable patient data or other personal data of third parties in a way that enables identification of individuals.

This includes in particular names, contact details, specific places/institutions, or a combination of details that allows inference.

Respect and professionalism

You must communicate respectfully and professionally. Discrimination, insults, harassment, threats or deliberate disruption are prohibited.

No marketing/spam

SchemaCommunity is not a marketing channel for acquiring patients. Spam and unsolicited advertising are prohibited. References to trainings or intervision are permitted only in a professional context.

User-generated content

You are responsible for the content you provide (e.g. profile text, forum posts, intervision listings, event submissions, messages).

You must ensure that your content does not infringe third-party rights (copyright, trademarks, personal rights) and does not violate laws or these terms.

To the extent necessary to operate the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive right to store, process and display your content within SchemaCommunity.

Moderation, reports and measures

• Users can report problematic content via a report function.
• We may hide or remove content and restrict accounts if there are concrete indications of legal violations or violations of these terms/community rules.
• Repeated or serious violations (especially violations of anonymisation) may lead to suspension or deactivation.

Prices and third-party offerings

SchemaCommunity is currently free to use. There are no membership fees or paywalls for core features.

Event listings or links may refer to third-party offerings. Contracts for paid services (e.g. event tickets) may be concluded exclusively between you and the respective third-party provider.

Liability

We are liable in accordance with statutory provisions:

• without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence,
• in cases of simple negligence only for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties) and limited to the typical foreseeable damage,
• without limitation for injury to life, body or health,
• under the Product Liability Act.

We do not assume any warranty for user content.

Term and termination

You may end your use at any time. You can request deletion/deactivation of your account by e-mail to kontakt@entwicklerherz.de.

We may suspend or deactivate accounts for good cause, in particular in the case of serious or repeated violations.

Consumer dispute resolution

Entwicklerherz GmbH is generally neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Final provisions

German law applies to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main.
